~~~ this is my 1st blog post i will be posting my photos together with my insights here~~~

Last July I went to Manila to do some errands. With me is my then camera Nikon d40
while waiting for my needed documents i started shooting along Roxaz Blvd.


Saw this man in the middle island of the road.. he's the only one i saw planting flowers

















yellow ribbons were all over the Metro when former President Cory Aquino became very ill the ribbons represent hope..






















it was also an opportunity for me to shoot for the Green Exhibit of Clean up the Philippines Movement but unfortunately this wasn't chosen.. sad because this is my favorite of all the photos i submitted. This is my favorite because it doesn't show filth that most depict. It's a positive image.
















then I went to Escolta and here are some of the my photos


this restaurant Savory was established in the 1950's and still stands at the corner of Escolta St. they are known for their tasty chicken. in front of Savory is the Land Management Bureau.. a very very old building
with broken windows as seen below

this is the arc that symbolizes the friendship between Filipinos and Chinese. This is the area where almost businesses are owned by Chinese residents of Manila
